Become a Key Player as a Welder

You will join the manufacturing team performing manual, automatic, and semi-automatic welds on high-temperature and high-strength metal alloys that support critical product systems. Your work ensures component integrity and readiness for downstream assembly and testing; you will interact with production technicians, quality inspectors, and engineering. This is an onsite role on 2nd shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM, Mon–Thu) with occasional training on 1st shift as needed.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Perform manual/automatic TIG and other welding processes, tacking, and weld repair at 1G (flat) on plates or pipes

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to meet specifications
  • Clean, cut, bend, clamp, and tack components into position prior to welding
  • Monitor weld quality during and after welding using visual inspection and support nondestructive testing (FPI, X-Ray) processes
  • Perform heat straightening and minor repairs on welding machinery and fixtures
  • Follow established procedures and safety practices, and wear appropriate PPE

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated TIG welding skill verified by passing AWS D17.1 1G weld test (requirements include 0.063" SS321 and 0.063" Hast-X butt joints at 1G position; welds must pass visual inspection, FPI, and X-Ray testing)
  • Ability to pass weld defects visual inspection test
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, procedures, drawings, and blueprints
  • High level of manual dexterity, reliable judgment, and willingness to learn
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to accurately perform moderately complex mathematical calculations
  • Basic computer operation skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Here's What Else Might Help You Out
