ABOUT THE POSITION

The Engineering Coordinator is responsible for various tasks to support Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Production personnel.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

·         Generate and assign new engineering items, and process new items through JDE

·         Generate and maintain BOMs and Routings in JDE with engineering support

·         Update and maintain item notes and drawing links in JDE

·         Print WOs and attach drawings for subsequent release with planning support

·         Transfer component allocations between WOs with planning support

·         Obtain and develop equipment manuals/data for engineered products, and distribute them to internal and external customers

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

·         JDE ERP experience required

·         High school degree or equivalent required

·         Ability to read and interpret drawing and blueprints

·         Knowledge of computers, primarily Word and Excel required.

·         Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to use these skills effectively throughout the organization and with all levels of employees required.

·         Must be able to work on data entry unassisted.

·         Ability to effectively work as a member of a team required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment.  Duties include a typical office setting including extensive computer work, sitting or standing.
