Job Title: Retail Pool Store Clerk / Receptionist

Location: Downingtown, PA
Schedule: Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexibility to stay until 4:00 PM on busier days)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Position Type: Temporary Assignment (Approximately 1 Month, Potential Extension to 2 Months)

Position Overview

Monarch Staffing is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Retail Pool Store Clerk / Receptionist for a local pool and spa service company in Downingtown, PA. This temporary opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, providing administrative support, and working in a retail environment.

The selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers, assisting with store operations, answering phones, processing sales transactions, and supporting basic pool water testing services.

Essential Responsibilities

·       Greet and check in customers upon arrival

·       Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or team member

·       Process retail sales transactions and operate the point-of-sale system

·       Assist customers with general questions regarding products and services

·       Support pool water testing procedures and communicate results to customers

·       Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office and retail area

·       Provide general administrative and customer service support as needed

Qualifications

·       Previous customer service, receptionist, retail, or administrative experience preferred

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Comfortable answering phones and interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment

·       Basic computer proficiency

·       Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor

·       Ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service
