You will apply TIG welding skills to produce precision aircraft sheet-metal components, improving product quality and throughput for the team. You will work onsite on a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu) on either day shift (early start ~3:30–4:00am) or swing shift (2:30pm–1:00am), collaborating with production and quality stakeholders to meet welding specifications and schedules.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Complete routine and advanced TIG welding tasks on thin titanium and nickel alloy components according to weld schedules, drawings, and written instructions.
- Prepare weld surfaces, fit assemblies, and perform welding repairs on your own parts as needed.
- Visually and dimensionally inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and make continuous improvements to product quality.
- Interpret and follow sketches, weld schedules, blueprints, and router operations to meet production and safety standards.
- Participate in and/or complete the organization's TIG weld training program and hold required weld qualifications.
- Train others based on prior job experience and work under limited oversight to meet efficiency standards.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Welding Technologies degree or equivalent welding certificate (required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Hold multiple basic weld qualifications/certifications, including Fillet Welding as required.
- Ability to perform TIG welding on thin materials (titanium and nickel alloys) with good manual dexterity and familiarity with precision instruments.
- Ability to read and apply basic Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprints.
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 pounds, balance, and frequently move the whole body; use of protective clothing and eye protection.

Pay Range
$21.55 - $25.00/hour
