You will help the team assemble and test mechanical products to meet quality and on-time delivery goals. You will work onsite on 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday) with initial training on 1st Shift for at least two months to qualify for the permanent 2nd Shift assignment. This is a contract-to-hire role supporting production and quality stakeholders on the manufacturing floor.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Accurately perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and assembly fixtures
- Record test results and document measurements using basic electrical equipment and flow meters
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specs, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives
- Produce and inspect assemblies to ensure conformance with product and customer standards
- Perform touch-up or full surface painting and part cleaning as required
- Participate in lean initiatives and suggest opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Observe safety rules and maintain a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) free work area
- Ensure equipment calibration is maintained according to schedule
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar hands-on production role
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints
- Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic inspection/measurement instruments
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with high accuracy and standing for most of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs when required
- Willingness to train on 1st Shift for at least two months as part of the onboarding process

- Experience with torque specifications and documenting torque values
- Precision measurement experience (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Previous work in regulated or ISO-certified environments (aerospace, medical devices)
Pay Range
$16.00 - $20.00/hour
