Become a Key Player as a Test Technician

You will help ensure electro and electromechanical components meet specification and are delivered on time, directly impacting production quality and on-time delivery. You will work onsite on the 2nd shift schedule (Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM) with an initial training period that may require Monday–Wednesday availability. You will collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to diagnose failures and provide clear root-cause analysis.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Perform routine mechanical and electromechanical testing of small parts and components per instructions and procedures
  • Review traveler route cards or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation
  • Set up and operate test equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators, power meters, network/spectrum analyzers, frequency counters) and execute tests to specification
  • Troubleshoot circuits and components, perform failure analysis down to the micro-component level
  • Provide detailed written failure descriptions and root-cause analysis to production and engineering
  • Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow all company safety rules and procedures
  • Adhere to attendance expectations and work variable schedules, nights, weekends, or additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience acceptable)
  • Familiarity with electronic assembly standards, solder quality, and basic rework practices
  • Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and automated test systems
  • Experience documenting work in a controlled environment (aerospace or similar)
  • Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics and ability to analyze methods and procedures
  • Good oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications

  • IPC or soldering/assembly knowledge
  • Ability to read technical drawings, wiring schematics, and BOM-related information

Pay Range

$19.39 - $24.24/hour
