A local bakery is seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Baker to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in creating high-quality baked goods.

A day in the life of an Assistant Baker:

• Measure and prepare ingredients according to established recipes and production standards.
• Operate commercial mixers and ovens safely and efficiently.
• Follow recipes and baking procedures carefully to ensure consistency and quality.
• Assist the Lead Baker with daily production and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Properly package, label, and rotate baked goods.
• Maintain required food safety and temperature logs.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the baking area, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Previous baking, food service, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Comfortable working with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, organized, and willing to learn.
• Must have flexible availability for daytime and weekend shifts.
