Play for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate Diagnosis, New Technology, Knowledge) is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds to fight breast cancer through sporting and lifestyle events. Our commitment is to contribute 100% of all net proceeds raised to our sole beneficiary, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), to fund the world’s top researchers.
Play for P.I.N.K. supports volunteers organizing sporting and lifestyle events to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and has raised $92 million to bring about breakthroughs in detection, treatment, prevention and survivorship since its inception.
ABOUT THE BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATATION (BCRF)
Breast cancer is a complex disease with no simple solution. Research is the key to stopping it in its tracks. Founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is the largest private funder of breast cancer research in the world. By investing in the best minds in science to examine every aspect of the disease from prevention to metastasis—and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration—BCRF is accelerating the entire field and moves us closer to the answers we urgently need to be the end of breast cancer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Managing Director, Play for P.I.N.K., the Associate, Fundraising Operations serves a critical role in the financial reporting and data management of Play for P.I.N.K.’s strategic plan. They are an integral part of Play for P.I.N.K.’s fundraising program and partner events.
This role serves as the point person for the appointed “Treasurer” of each event, tracking all revenue from all annual independent events, managing and entering all event / donor data into organizations CRM system.
The Associate, Fundraising Operations will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the full operations of a nonprofit organization, with a focus on fundraising and managing donations received from annual events. This position works closely with the events lead, associate manager, Accountant/Treasurer.
This position is based in New York, New York. BCRF currently requires staff to work onsite a minimum of three days per week.

You are comfortable working with CRM databases, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating across teams to support fundraising initiatives.
