Become a Key Player as a Convoluter

You will operate and maintain the convoluter to produce quality tubing that meets manufacturing specifications. You will work closely with the Value Stream Team Leader, maintenance, and production teammates to meet nightly production goals. This is an onsite role on 3rd Shift (11:30 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday, with required training on 1st shift for 2–3 weeks.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Install guide tube, die, and lip seal per manufacturing specifications
• Set up equipment and verify capability (guards, oven exhaust blowers, air pressure, oven temperature)
• Verify water pressure on chiller pump, check compression, and enable water supply
• Install materials on creel or into rotating tube; set up vacuum, puller, and die speed
• Monitor tube through oven, vacuum tank, puller, and counter; check rotation speed, ID/OD, convolution per inch, and wall thickness
• Record measurements on SPC chart and cut tube as needed
• Perform conductivity testing, straightening, and rework when required
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow 5S practices
• Follow safety regulations and quality guidelines; report production issues to the lead
• Perform work of equal or lower classification as assigned

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read work orders and interpret manufacturing specifications
• Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi tape)
• Basic computer skills
• Constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail
• Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify changes and take appropriate action
• Ability to lift and move material as described in physical requirements and stand for extended periods
• Must pass pre-employment screening

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

• Production work experience (preferred but not required)
• Basic understanding of lean fundamentals and 5S
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Sound decision-making and basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay Range

"$16.60 - $20.75/hour"
