Location: On campus in Walnut Creek, CA

Reports to: Student Care & Safety Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Student Care & Safety Team Member will support daily students activities during and after school hours. This will be for Closing Shifts only and the hours would likely be 2 - 6pm, 3 - 6pm or 4 - 6pm depending on need and availability. Total hours per week will be 10-15 hours.

 

Job Details:

  • Assist with monitoring students in various areas of the campus during and after school hours.

  • Help ensure student compliance with school rules and safety procedures.

  • Observe student behavior, help promote positive interactions, and report any concerns to the Assistant or Supervisor.

  • Provide basic first aid for minor injuries and alert staff to any safety or health concerns.

  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for students.

  • Assist with the setup, cleanup, and support of after-school and enrichment activities as needed.

  • Follow directions from Supervisor and Assistant to support daily routines 

  • Help prepare and organize materials and supplies for student activities.

  • Communicate respectfully and clearly with students, staff, and families as appropriate.

  • Work as part of a team to support student needs and program goals.

  • Help record attendance or participation and assist with basic paperwork or forms as directed.

  • Participate in emergency drills and assist in carrying out safety protocols.

  • Report any facility or equipment issues to the Assistant or Supervisor.

  • Follow all school and district policies while carrying out daily responsibilities.

  • Attend required meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:
