Become a Key Player as a Quality Technician I
You will ensure product quality and compliance for the client's aerospace components, directly impacting safety and on-time delivery. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm) with internal customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams to maintain inspection standards and resolve nonconformances.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Assist in developing and improving incoming and outgoing inspection processes
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and related documentation to verify parts
- Perform inspections and create Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR); assign and follow up on corrective actions
- Enter transactions to move material and document dispositions, including customer returns and credit requests
- Participate in Corrective Action Teams (CAT) and High Performance Teams (HPT) to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Maintain and distribute quality system documentation and support AS9100/ISO compliance activities
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102
- Follow established safety and environmental policies and procedures
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Exposure to FAA 8130 tags
- Ability to read blueprints and part drawings
- Proficiency with gauges, calipers, torque range tools, filler gauges, lead partition gauges, and micrometers
- Experience with ISO 9001 and Aerospace standards such as AS9100
- Experience performing First Articles (FAI) per AS9102
- Comfortable engaging with auditors to support compliance activities
- Associate in Applied Science degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Basic electrical knowledge for testing electrical components
- Computer skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes) and ability to learn business systems

Pay Range
$24.00 - $30.00/hour
