The Manager of Court Technologies provides subject matter expertise and hands-on leadership in assessment, specification, design, procurement, implementation, and improvement of technology solutions for courts, government attorneys, and other justice partners. The Manager leads client engagements and supports the administration, growth, financial performance, staffing, and quality of the Court Technologies domain within Mission Critical Partners.
The position requires a self-motivated professional who works effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment, builds trusted client relationships, develops and coaches staff, and demonstrates MCP’s core values of Persistence, Integrity, Trust, Accountability, and Prudence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Court management applications and solutions, including case and records management, electronic filing, online dispute resolution, jury management, evidence management, and related court applications
- Prosecution and defense applications
- Integrated justice information systems and data exchanges
- Strategic planning and large-scale technology acquisitions for courts and other participants in the legal community
- Support accountability for Court Technologies domain strategy, growth, execution, quality, financial performance, and staff development.
- Work with the Senior Vice President and market segment leadership to establish domain goals, operating metrics, and business objectives aligned with market segment and corporate priorities.
- Support revenue and growth objectives while delivering high-quality services that meet client needs and strengthen long-term client relationships.
- Lead and participate in client engagements involving court technology assessments, requirements development, specifications, procurement support, solution design, implementation, project management, change management, and business analysis.
- Develop, establish, maintain, and manage client projects and relationships, ensuring that work is completed within approved scope, schedule, and budget and that deliverables meet MCP quality standards.
- Assess client environments, identify needs and risks, facilitate stakeholder discussions, present concepts, and develop practical recommendations and implementation strategies.
- Plan and coordinate project teams, assignments, schedules, budgets, risks, quality reviews, and client communications across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Develop, lead, and participate in the preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, technical reports, procurement documents, and other business-development materials.
- Collaborate with consultants, project managers, and business development managers to forecast resource requirements by capability, level, timing, and quantity.
- Support recruiting by identifying qualified candidates and participating in candidate interviews and selection activities as requested.
- Develop, mentor, and coach consulting staff; provide timely feedback and contribute to performance evaluations as directed by market segment leadership.
- Lead by example and foster teamwork, accountability, knowledge sharing, and constructive problem-solving in pursuit of client and business objectives.
- Maintain awareness of relevant court operations, justice-sector practices, technology trends, security and integration considerations, and federal, state, and local policies or regulatory requirements.
- Share technical and consulting knowledge with peers through training, coaching, reusable work products, and the exchange of effective methods and lessons learned.
- Travel to client sites and other business locations as required, up to 50 percent of the time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises employees assigned to the Court Technologies team and may provide project direction to additional staff serving court technology engagements.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with MCP policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities may include participating in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; recognizing and developing employees; addressing performance concerns; and resolving workplace issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, business, public administration, criminal justice, court administration, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. A master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in consulting, public-sector technology, court administration, project engagement, or project management, including significant court technology domain expertise.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting the assessment, acquisition, implementation, or transformation of court technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, change management, business analysis, stakeholder facilitation, and technology transformation, including responsibility for project budgets.
- Ability to assess client situations, identify operational and technology needs, present complex concepts clearly, develop requirements and recommendations, and guide teams toward practical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of project management methods and practices; familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience developing requests for qualifications, requests for proposals, presentations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Knowledge of court operations and applicable federal, state, and local policies, standards, and regulatory activities affecting court and justice technology.
- Relevant court, justice, technology, or project management certifications are strongly desired.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management, contract management, and financial or accounting software used to manage consulting engagements.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to client locations and MCP regional offices.
