Become a Key Player as a Production Assembler 1
You will perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly to help the team meet production targets and quality standards. You will work onsite on a first shift schedule (Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm) and collaborate with production leads and quality inspectors to deliver compliant assemblies.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform routine assembly of small parts or components following documented instructions and procedures
- Review shop traveler/route cards or simple schematic drawings to confirm sequence of operations
- Position very small parts under a binocular microscope using tweezers or fixtures
- Adjust, bend, align, and solder fine wires to resistors and base parts
- Bond or seal parts or assemblies with epoxies and use heating elements or ovens as required
- Perform in-process testing and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; support variable schedules or additional hours when necessary
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- 6 months–2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to follow basic directions and learn/cross-train
- Blueprint reading ability
- Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for working with small parts
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and light machinery
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
- Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent related experience
