Become a Key Player as a Hose Coil / Pressure Test Operator (PAF)

You will operate hose coiling and pressure test equipment to ensure finished products meet manufacturing specifications and quality standards. You will work onsite on the 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday) with mandatory overtime as needed, supporting production leads and maintenance to keep flow and quality consistent. Your work directly impacts product integrity and downstream inspection and shipping processes.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Coil hose to specifications, verify part numbers, sizes, job numbers, and reel dimensions
  • Inspect hose for defects (broken wires, kinks, missing wires) and cut/tape out nonconforming sections
  • Operate pressure test equipment: set up test mode, jaws, mandrels, prefill, run cycle time, and purge; record PSI and tag tested parts
  • Measure OD, ID, and pitch; cut burst and periodic samples as required
  • Label and place tested hose in quality inspection area and record attributes on inspection sheets
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S and safety procedures; report production or equipment issues to the lead

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Ability to perform physical tasks: stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 21–50 lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills and ability to record inspection data accurately
  • Attention to detail and continuous visual/listening focus to monitor product and machine sounds
  • Availability for the posted shift and flexibility for mandatory overtime

  • Production or manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making, math, reading, and writing skills
  • Experience working in team-based manufacturing environments

Pay Range

$15.00 - $18.75/hour
