Become a Key Player as an Accounts Receivable Specialist

You will provide temporary, full-time (40 hours/week) accounts receivable support through the end of the year, helping the finance and membership teams secure timely payments and clean up aged receivables. You will interact directly with members and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and ensure accurate account records. Your work will support the organization’s cash flow and member relationships.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Contact members regarding past-due balances, outstanding invoices, membership dues, sponsorships, and event-related receivables via phone and email.
• Resolve billing questions, payment issues, and account discrepancies.
• Support follow-up on outstanding receivables and year-end cleanup of aged accounts.
• Document outreach efforts, payment arrangements, and account status updates in the CRM.
• Work with the Finance and Membership teams to reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Process customer payments and assist with payment application and related documentation.
• Maintain professional member relationships, balancing collections efforts with a strong customer-service approach.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related finance role.
• Strong service mindset and professional written and verbal communication skills for member outreach by email and phone.
• Ability to resolve billing discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
• Experience documenting outreach and payment arrangements in CRM/accounting systems.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) through the end of the year.

Pay Rate

• 42.00/hr
