Become a Key Player as an IT Help Desk Technician

You will provide hands-on desktop and end-user support to keep the organization productive and secure. You will support onsite and remote users, collaborate with the helpdesk team in Irvine and the infrastructure team, and serve manufacturing and office stakeholders. This is a part-time, onsite/remote hybrid role with flexible scheduling (max 32 hours/week).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

  • Provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software, peripherals, mobile devices, and connectivity issues
  • Log, prioritize, and resolve tickets while meeting SLA targets and documenting work accurately
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding tasks: account setup, device provisioning, and access changes
  • Image, deploy, and maintain workstations through Intune for 300+ endpoints
  • Support conference room technology, printers, and manufacturing floor end-user devices
  • Maintain accurate asset records for assigned, returned, and retired equipment
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and user guides
  • Educate users on cybersecurity practices and report suspected security incidents

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

  • 2+ years of Level 2 or Level 3 helpdesk or technical support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and wireless troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Awareness of phishing, social engineering, and password security practices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work onsite

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 certifications
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

Pay Range

$28.00 - $35.00/hour
