Become a Key Player as a Welder
You will perform precision TIG welding on aerospace components to meet strict engineering and inspection standards. You will support production goals on a 2nd shift, primarily onsite (2nd Shift — 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Mon–Fri), training on 1st shift for at least two months before transitioning. Your work enables downstream assemblies and supports quality, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders.
Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
- Perform manual TIG (GTAW) welding to required tolerances per engineering specifications
- Read and apply product/process drawings, weld symbols, and quality requirements
- Make procedural adjustments to achieve product conformance and document changes
- Complete welds on thin-gauge materials (standard 0.035 in) and use weld positioners/turntables as required
- Log parts, maintain paperwork, and accurately inspect and process completed work
- Maintain a clean, FOD-free work area and support setup and basic equipment configuration
- Participate in lean initiatives and suggest process improvements
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of verifiable TIG (GTAW) welding experience, preferably in aerospace or precision fabrication
- Ability to TIG weld stainless steel thin-wall tubing (approx. 0.028–0.035 in) and progressively weld Inconel, titanium, and aluminum
- Ability to fuse thin metal and work with sheet-metal type materials
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld specifications
- Must obtain AWS D17.1 certification within 6 months of employment
- Ability to pass vision screening standards (Near: Jaeger 1 at 12 inches or greater; Far: 20/25 or better; Color perception: average/normal)
- Ability to work with limited guidance in a team environment and follow safety procedures

Pay Range
$21.40 - $26.75/hour
