Leading Medical Device Company in the Critical Care Marketplace looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse Manager (BSN 4 year degree MINIMUM, Masters preferred) with at least a minimum of 3 years critical care within an Acute Care Setting experience. Best if person has advanced within the hospital setting managing others or participating in a team lead position. Must be a dynamic person with excellent presentation skills and a professional attitude and presence. Medical industry experience a real plus!
30% - Support Critical Care business as the resident clinical expert/ liaison to other functional areas within Company. Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management with respect to commonly accepted practices and protocol in the ICU environment. Partner with Legal to inform about commonly accepted practices and protocol in the ICU/ acute-care environment. Partner with New Product Development in the design and development of new products. Partner with Global Marketing with the design and delivery of new materials.
20% - Manage the scope and quality of clinical services provided by Clinical Nurse Educators and the product knowledge of the sales associates. Coordinate the agendas, attendees and relevant follow-up for CNE team meetings. Serve as a liaison for the clinical input between CNE team members and other departments (Global Marketing / Communication, New Product Development, etc).
20% - Manage the Critical Care Clinical Advisory Board activities and related projects. Construct the agendas and coordinate all logistics for these meetings. Ensure that important learnings from these forums is communicated appropriately and acted upon.
10% - Coordinate the development and publication of case studies and white papers featuring critical care products.
10% - Manage critical care clinical education; 1.) Provide ongoing education around critical care products and customer needs to company field-based and corporate associates. 2.) Craft and deliver trainings at national sales meetings 3) Provide New Hire orientation and training on Critical Care products to new associates.
10% - Plan and coordinate clinical presentations at national trade meetings for key customer groups such as WOCN, AACN, SSCM, NTI and others. Develop presentation goals and recruit and manage consultants involved in these projects.
Location and Coverage:
- Candidate must be Chicago NORTH based. This is a report to Corporate Headquarters position.
- This position will require 40% travel with 95% USA Domestic Travel and 5% International travel.
Income Expectations:
- Total income Annual Range from $99,000 TO $121,000
- Base Salary Range from 90K to 110K (commensurate with experience) PLUS 10% YEAR END BONUS
- All travel related expenses reimbursed.
- 3 Weeks vacation from day 1 granted
