We are seeking passionate, dedicated entry-level teachers to join our K-8 school community in Burlingame, California. Rather than managing a full classroom independently from day one, you'll develop your teaching expertise through a structured co-teaching model, allowing you to build confidence, refine instructional strategies, and create a strong foundation for a successful teaching career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-teach with K-8th grade classroom teachers, providing small group instruction and targeted support
  • Plan and lead small group reading and math classes with guidance from mentor teachers
  • Assess student progress and use data to inform instructional decisions and student grouping
  • Teach enrichment or intervention classes during designated periods
  • Provide individual tutoring and academic support as needed
  • Plan and teach at least one complete unit during the second semester
  • Meet regularly with your Development Partner/mentor for feedback and professional growth
  • Participate in duty rotations, whole-school events, and grade-level activities
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing school culture initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support student success and school operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited institution
  • Strong content knowledge and command of subject area(s)
  • California Teaching Credential completed or in progress (or eligible to obtain)
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in public school settings
  • Commitment to supporting all students in achieving rigorous academic standards
