We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes and the timely delivery of high-quality products. Your leadership and expertise will play a critical role in driving productivity and achieving production targets.

 

Core Duties and Responsibilities

 

·      Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements.

·      Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

·      Monitor production processes and adjust workflow as needed to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and improve processes.

·      Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions.

·      Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all production personnel.

·      Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes to ensure consistency and quality.

·      Train, develop, and supervise production staff, provide guidance and support, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

·      Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements to improve production efficiency.

·      Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal functionality of production equipment.

 

 

Education and Experience

 

·      Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.

·      Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·      Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and best practices.

·      Proven track record of successfully leading production teams and achieving production targets.

·      Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

·      Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and implement effective solutions.

·      Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse production team.

·      Proficiency in using production planning and management software.

·      Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production environment.

·      Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·      Strong organizational and time management skills.

Jodie brings over 30 years of manufacturing leadership experience, having built and led 5 companies as CEO/President and 3 of those companies with an ESG focus.

Most recently, Jodie served as the CEO of GreenMantra Technologies, a privately-held early- stage advanced recycler of waste plastics to specialty waxes. Previously, she was President of Pinova, a PE-backed manufacturer of specialty chemicals from renewable resources.

Currently, she serves on the boards of NanoXplore (TSX) and Bartek Ingredients (PE backed) and is active with The National Association of Corporate Directors and The Women Corporate Directors.

Jodie earned degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and holds an MBA in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
