Role Impact

As an Electrical Engineering Leader, PE in our Gilbert, AZ office you will lead a high-performing team focused on designing, developing, and implementing solar and battery storage projects and serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for major projects. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking solutions in the renewable energy sector, while mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers.

What You'll Lead

• Specialized team of electrical engineers focused on cutting-edge solar and battery storage projects
• Integration of innovative engineering solutions 
• Strategic project planning and execution for utility-scale renewable energy projects
• Development of standardized processes and best practices for engineering excellence
• Client relationships and technical consultations for complex energy projects

Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Guide team vision and technical direction
• Technical Excellence: Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for major renewable energy projects
• Innovative Leadership: Drive technological advancement and process improvements
• Team Development: Mentor and develop engineers and future leaders
• Project Oversight: Manage complex solar and battery storage projects from conception to completion
• Business Growth: Contribute technical expertise to business development initiatives

What You Bring

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 6+ years electrical engineering experience (2+ years in utility-scale solar/battery storage)
• 2+ years leadership experience
• Expertise in renewable energy systems and grid integration
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (ETAP/SKM, CYMCAP, WinIGS/CDEGS, PVsyst, SAM)
• Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, NERC standards
• Spanish language skills are a bonus!
