Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Sales Representative to drive new business growth in the frozen food category. This is a true hunter role, focused on cold prospecting, face-to-face sales calls, and opening new accounts. The ideal candidate is competitive, coachable, and motivated by performance-based rewards in a fast-paced food sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Prospect and acquire new customers with profitable business within Frozen Foods industry (restaurants, foodservice operators, grocery stores, convenience stores, distributors, industrial manufactures)

·         Identify and contact prospects by conducting cold calls and in-person sales visits

• Present frozen food products, programs, pricing, and value propositions to decision-makers
• Build pipeline activity and manage leads through CRM
• Track competitive activity, pricing trends, and territory opportunities through CRM

·         Establish an annual sales and expense budget

·         Become a product expert who can explain their features and benefits to potential customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel 50%
• Minimum of 1 year independent sales experience
• College degree required
• Strong desire to pursue a career in outside sales
• Comfortable with cold calling, rejection, and high-activity sales days
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and closing skills
• Self-motivated with strong time and territory management abilities
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and transport frozen food samples or cases as needed
