Overview
The Intervention & HB1416 Support Clerk will be responsible for supporting student intervention processes, engagement monitoring, HB1416 compliance tracking, and Revocation of Transfer (ROT) operational workflows within a virtual public school environment. This position will primarily focus on intervention tracking, student engagement reporting, compliance documentation, and cross-functional operational support, and require the ability to manage data accurately, monitor intervention progress, coordinate timely communication, and support student retention and compliance initiatives to fulfill our mission of empowering families and unleashing potential.
Essential Duties- HB1416 & Intervention Support
- Identify and track students assigned to HB1416 intervention requirements and monitor completion progress.
- Maintain accurate records of intervention assignments, participation, and completed intervention hours.
- Support weekly HB1416 reporting, compliance monitoring, and escalation processes.
- Assist with outreach and communication to students and families regarding intervention participation and expectations.
- RTI & Student Engagement Monitoring
- Support RTI intervention processes, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 intervention tracking and documentation.
- Monitor student engagement indicators including attendance, pacing, participation, and assignment completion.
- Assist with intervention roster management, progress monitoring, and intervention reporting processes.
- Support campuses and instructional teams with follow-up communication and intervention-related documentation.
- Identify and escalate concerns regarding at-risk or disengaged students.
- Revocation of Transfer (ROT) Operational Support
- Assist with identifying students meeting ROT criteria based on attendance and participation data.
- Support weekly ROT tracking, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Maintain ROT documentation, communication logs, and tracking systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with ROT appeals, reinstatement tracking, and withdrawal processing in collaboration with registrar teams.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records within Salesforce, Ascender, IXL, and other student information systems.
- Assist with weekly and monthly intervention, HB1416, engagement, and ROT reporting processes.
- Verify data accuracy and escalate discrepancies or compliance concerns as needed.
- Support audit preparation, documentation maintenance, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Collaboration & Operational Support
- Work collaboratively across departments to support student retention, intervention implementation, and operational readiness.
- Support attendance recovery and student re-engagement initiatives.
- Assist with end-of-year intervention processing, withdrawal workflows, and preparation for upcoming school year intervention systems.
- You will play a key role in our collective success by proactively pivoting to support emerging business needs and strategic priorities directed by your manager.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in education, student services, administrative support, data management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity.
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and data management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and operational processes simultaneously.
- Experience working in K–12 education, online learning, attendance monitoring, intervention support, or student services preferred.
- Familiarity with RTI/MTSS frameworks, HB1416 requirements, and student intervention processes preferred.
- Experience with Ascender, Salesforce, IXL, or similar educational platforms preferred.
Education & Certification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
