Description

Nexus Circular is the leading advanced recycling company at the center of the circular economy. We accelerate plastic recycling so that people, economies, and the environment can thrive. As the leader in advanced recycling, we convert landfill-bound plastics into circular feedstocks to produce sustainable virgin plastics. Aligned with global partners who seek proven scalable solutions to meet ambitious plastic circularity goals, Nexus is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint, moving decisively to address the complex challenges of plastics accumulation in the environment.

Nexus has built an outstanding culture. We are looking for people to contribute to a fast-paced, environmentally committed business that is focused on growth. We are collaborative, transparent, data-driven, and safety-focused.

Job Summary / Purpose

We are seeking a Feedstock Planning & Reporting Analyst to serve as the analytical and reporting backbone of the Nexus national feedstock account team. This role owns the numbers the business plans against: the multi-year feedstock supply forecast, the recurring reporting that reaches our executive team, and the data integrity of the feedstock pipeline in Salesforce. It also owns the ISCC+ supplier self-declaration program, which determines whether the material we buy can be sold as certified circular product.

Strong applicants will be part analyst and part program owner. The analytical half calls for demonstrated experience in data mining, quantitative analysis, forecasting, and report writing. The ownership half calls for someone who can run a recurring calendar of deliverables that other people depend on, chase down missing inputs without being asked, and become the person everyone goes to for what a number actually means.

The position is a key member of the Feedstock Sourcing Team and will report to Nexus Circular’s Director, Strategic Feedstock Sourcing, with strong cooperation with the Chief Comercial Officer.

Responsibilities

·        Supply forecast and base plan. Own the rolling multi-year feedstock supply forecast and the base plan workbook that the commercial and operations teams plan against. Refresh it from Salesforce, reconcile it against purchase and PO pricing data, and publish updates to the sourcing team and supply chain.

·        Monthly executive reporting. Build the monthly feedstock analysis and supporting charts that feed leadership reporting, and maintain the underlying data after each month close.

·        Recurring pipeline reporting. Maintain the recurring Salesforce reports and subscriptions the sourcing team works from, and deliver them on a fixed weekly cadence.

·        Recycled content forecasting. Maintain the recycled content view of the forecast, including post-consumer (PCR) volume as a percentage of the total volume. Keep the underlying Salesforce designations accurate

·        ISCC+ self-declaration program. Own the supplier self-declaration process end to end: maintain the master list ahead of the annual audit, track and chase missing and expiring forms, and validate what comes back. Provide self-declarations from suppliers.

·        Salesforce data stewardship. Own the integrity of the feedstock data in Salesforce, including the product and pricing classifications and the opportunity schedules the forecast is built on. Run periodic data cleanses and resolve ownership and field conflicts.

·        Research Projects:   Conduct miscellaneous research projects upon request.

·        Vendors documentation administration. Maintain current package of Nexus documents (e.g., Nexus tax ID, bank & credit references, etc.). Maintain current blank Vendor registration packet in Teams and send to Account Managers upon request.  Generate Manufacturing IDs in Salesforce for opportunities ready to Close

·        Partnership with Salesforce administration. Act as the business partner to our Salesforce administrator in developing new reports and dashboards for the team: define what the team needs to see and why, specify the underlying data, and test what gets built before it goes live.

·        Market and competitor monitoring. Produce regular alerts covering legislation (including extended producer responsibility), competitor activity, and account developments. Add information about upcoming conferences/relevant events to FST

·        Market analysis support. Support analysis-based projects such as market assessments, company assessments, waste characterization and stream sizing, including secondary research, data collection, and bottom-up sizing by segment. Track state legislation and report changes.

·        Supplier onboarding support. Coordinate vendor paperwork, credit applications, and onboarding documentation for new feedstock suppliers in partnership with procurement and the commercial enablement team.

·        Team coordination. Support Feedstock Sourcing Team meeting logistics, agendas, and follow-ups, and track deliverable due dates across the team. Schedule monthly and quarterly meetings.

·        Quality control. Conduct quality control and assurance on data and work products so that reports, tables, charts, and presentation material going to internal audiences are accurate and consistent from one month to the next.

Qualifications

·        An undergraduate degree that includes a strong quantitative component (e.g. Math, Statistics, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or Economics), or equivalent experience.

·        Three or more years in an analyst, planning, or business reporting role. Experience in manufacturing, plastics recycling, waste, or the plastic value chain is a plus.

·        Advanced Excel is required, not preferred. This role owns a multi-year planning workbook that other teams build on, so fluency with pivot tables, lookups, and multi-tab models is a baseline expectation.

·        Deep working knowledge of Salesforce is required. Building and scheduling reports, running exports, and maintaining data quality across related objects. Administrator experience or a willingness to grow into light configuration work is a plus.

·        Familiarity with sustainability certification schemes (ISCC+, chain of custody, mass balance) is a strong plus. A willingness to become the internal subject matter expert is required.

·        Strong written communication skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear and concise summaries for a range of audiences, from the sourcing team to the executive team.

·        Demonstrated reliability on a recurring deliverable calendar. A meaningful part of this role is weekly work with fixed dates that other people plan around.

·        Experience with Power BI or a similar data visualization tool is a plus but not required.

·        Occasional travel and meetings or other activities outside standard work hours may be required.

Competency Profile

·        Relentless work ethic.

·        Demonstrates passion for Nexus.

·        High integrity.

·        A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.

·        Takes ownership of recurring work without being chased, and flags a slipping deadline early.

·        Has high employee pride of ownership in their work.

·        Ability to maintain a culture that is based on teamwork, respect, speed, and integrity.
