  • One or more years (1+) of experience working in an agency environment. You have figured out the effort/results equation and understand the correlation between direct candidate outreach and submissions, interviews and hires.
  • In short, you get it and are seeking a good team / environment, high quality opportunities for your candidates and a compensation plan that rewards consistent revenue generation.
As recruiters first and foremost, you will be responsible for sourcing active and passive candidates from internal and external sources including direct sourcing/research and outreach. You must feel comfortable pitching technical opportunities to engineers and able to generate useful information from these calls regardless of the interest level of the person you are calling. Performance metrics are important but what we are really looking for is enthusiasm, phone activity and quality submissions.
Additional experience and traits should include:
  • Excellent computer skills and online research capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and switch directions on a dime with no down time
  • Ability to sift large volumes of data quickly and not get bogged down with irrelevant candidate leads
  • A sense of urgency and whatever it takes approach to meeting client commitments
  • A team player mentality, ethics, morals and a sense of humor
