Description
Career Evolutions is searching for an experienced UI/UX Designer for a fast-growing privately held wellness and science company in Scottsdale AZ. This position is full-time position with salary up to $80,000.  As a UX/UI Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for taking Photoshop mockups and turning them into landing pages on the clients Wordpress website. Additionally, you will be reporting to and working directly with the Marketing Director, and you will be receiving verbal guidance in design that you must be able to interpret accurately and then execute into front-end code.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Flawlessly execute Photoshop mockups into Wordpress Landing Pages
  • Flawlessly interpret verbal and written design instructions from Marketing Director and convert into beautiful, highly aesthetic marketing-oriented Wordpress Landing Pages
  • Assist in conceptualizing and developing stream-lined User Interface/User Experience Mock-ups (UI/UX Design)
  • Follow brand identity standards – Specifically:  Colors, Typography, Layout and Graphic styles
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and complete projects quickly
  • Assist in the maintenance of the design of the company website
  • Make miscellaneous changes to the website as directed
  • Coordinate, create, and edit event landing pages with content manager, PR, writers and department directors for weekly company events
  • Create email marketing layouts and send email campaign promos as directed
  • Must be able to develop and write code quickly
  • Other requests as needed
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery Mastery required. Moderate PHP experience preferred
  • Adobe Dreamweaver Mastery required. Photoshop skills are a BIG plus
  • Wordpress Mastery required
  • Firebug/Chrome Inspector Mastery required. (For real-time visual design)
  • Profound understanding of Direct-Response Marketing Psychology, Strategy & Techniques
  • 3+ years of Self-Study/Mentorship in Direct Response Marketing Psychology, Strategy and Techniques
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Web Development or related field of study, and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint Proficiency required
  • Extremely strong attention to detail. Professionalism and Aesthetics are KEYS in the success of our campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and must be able to present and communicate ideas effectively
  • Proven track record: Must have examples and case studies of designing high-converting direct-response landing page designs / layouts
 
MOVING FORWARD
Include a sample of at least 10 Marketing-Oriented Web Designs you’ve personally created through no or minimal assistance from others. Include:
  • Direct Response Landing Page Designs / Layouts (Include at least 7)
  • Direct Response Email Designs (Include at least 3)
