Career Evolutions is searching for an Junior Buyer for a fast-growing biomed company in the Tempe, Arizona. It’s a 3 month contract paying up to $19/hour.
Job Title: Junior Buyer
Job Description: You will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials and supplies from vendors to ensure on-time delivery at competitive pricing. You will evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers. You will use your purchasing knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures when monitoring orders in order to meet project milestones and deadlines. You will also work on special projects as assigned by the purchasing lead, and be part of planning and procurement related to revenue, costs, and inventory objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management
2-5 years of experience working in the purchasing field
Previous hands-on experience with ERP systems and bills of materials is required
Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
