Position Summary
This position provides a bridge between our Radiation Center and referring Physicians along with assisting in marketing / support services to the marketing department and thereby aid in increasing the utilization of the Facility's services, cultivating referral activity and strengthening existing referral activities by implementing, exemplifying, and promoting the Hospital's professional services, and continually striving for improvement.
Tasks- Answer physicians' questions about facility, availability, capabilities, and terms.
- Recommend Radiation Center capabilities to physicians, based on physicians' needs and interests.
- Contact existing and prospective physicians.
- Consult with physicians to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Marketing of Radiation Center facility and capabilities to physicians and/or physician groups.
- Work requires knowledge of physician specialties and procedures.

Essential Job Functions- Conduct effective office visits. The purpose of these visits will be to:
- Educate Physician about the facility, services offered, and enhance new service with new service lines.
- Educate referring and new office staff on services offered, enhancements, and new services.
- Increase referral percentages / volume.
- Increase referral percentages / volume from current non-referring offices.
Experience and Education- 3 to 5 years Sales & Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Health Care
- Oncology and/or Radiation background preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and develop effective marketing strategies for new and existing services.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with current and prospective physicians and staff and all levels of management.
- Analytical skills necessary to identify customer needs in order to develop sales plans
