A confidential U.S.-based advanced manufacturing firm is seeking a Materials Management & Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, procurement, inventory, and kitting operations. This is a high-impact role where your decisions will directly support the delivery of cutting-edge industrial technologies used across global markets.

This vertically integrated technology company develops and manufactures complex systems for high-precision industries across 20+ sectors and 38 countries. As demand increases, the company is scaling its operations, which requires a strong leader to optimize material flow, procurement, and vendor strategy.
Your Role:
You’ll be at the center of operational excellence—managing physical resources from sourcing to delivery on the production floor. Your leadership will be essential in aligning vendor performance, inventory control, and ERP system accuracy with the company's aggressive growth and production goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute forward-thinking procurement strategies aligned with production needs

Lead sourcing efforts, including supplier selection, price negotiation, and contract management

Track and analyze procurement KPIs to reduce costs, improve delivery timelines, and increase reliability

Oversee receiving, inventory control, stocking, kitting, and delivery operations
-
Ensure real-time ERP accuracy and alignment with finance and production requirements

Manage a team of buyers and inventory specialists with a focus on performance, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration

Continuously assess supply chain risks and mitigate material shortages or delays
-
Maintain minimum inventory levels while ensuring on-time parts availability for production

Build and nurture vendor relationships to support just-in-time delivery and quality control

Analyze make vs. buy decisions to support strategic sourcing
-
Write and issue purchase orders and track them through to successful, timely delivery
-
Audit inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and drive process improvements in warehousing and logistics
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven track record in supply chain, procurement, or materials management in a manufacturing environment

Strong ERP system proficiency and data-driven decision-making skills

Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
-
Experience leading teams and implementing process improvements

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, high-growth operation

A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail
