The Role:

This role centers on chemical process design and innovation—applying your engineering expertise to solve problems in mixing, transport, heat transfer, and process control. You’ll drive research, scale-up, and commercialization efforts across batch and continuous processing systems.

From bench-scale experimentation to production-ready solutions, your work will directly influence the development of breakthrough industrial technologies with both immediate application and long-term market potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead chemical engineering R&D projects from concept through commercialization

• Apply expertise in process engineering to optimize mixing, mass transport, and heat transfer in complex systems

• Evaluate process scale-up strategies for batch and continuous processes

• Design and develop equipment and process protocols for pilot- and production-scale systems

• Conduct experimental work, analyze data, and deliver research reports and technical presentations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to meet performance and safety targets

• Prepare grant proposals, documentation, and support technical conversations with clients, partners, and regulatory entities

• Travel occasionally for client collaboration, presentations, or global deployments

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred)

• 5+ years of experience in product or process development

• Experience with industrial applications in sectors such as energy storage, pharma, chemicals, or advanced manufacturing

• Familiarity with solid-solid, liquid-solid, and liquid-liquid process systems

• Understanding of conventional mixing fundamentals and scale-up design

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• A curious mindset and a drive to innovate

• U.S. Citizenship (required)

• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
