Electrical Designer

Here’s how you’ll make an impact on the team:

• Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit studies, and voltage drop analyses
• Assist with the design and layout of lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage/IT systems
• Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and/or Revit, incorporating design updates and field observations
• Support Engineers with field visits to document existing systems and ensure project compliance
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines to align designs and project objectives
• Conduct lighting photometric calculations and select lighting fixtures and controls
• Participate in internal project planning and coordination meetings to support timelines and quality standards

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 0–3 years of experience in electrical system design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with AutoCAD

Here’s what else might help you out:

• Revit MEP experience
• Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
• EIT certification (preferred, not required)
• Experience with field surveys and electrical system assessments

Pay Range:
$65,000 - $85,000/year
