Position Overview:

The Human Resources Business Partner Support is a key member of the team responsible for providing administrative support to both Human Resources and site leadership. This role ensures smooth day-to-day office operations while supporting key HR functions such as employee onboarding, records management, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Support 

  • Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 verification and system set-up. 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in both physical and digital formats. 
  • Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs in a timely manner and professional manner. 
  • Assist with payroll processing tasks by ensuring accurate data entry and resolving discrepancies. 
  • Support compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies. 
  • Coordinate employee leaves of absence, worker’s compensation claims, and related documentation. 
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, sending offer letters, and facilitating new hire paperwork. 
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition initiatives. 
  • Track and support training compliance and certifications. 

Office Administration 

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries, and general inquiries. 
  • Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate ordering and restocking. 
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and professional office environment. 
  • Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance, repairs, and services. 
  • Support planning and execution of onsite meetings, events, and team gatherings. 
  • Manage mail, email, and incoming telephone calls. 
  • Provide general administrative support to site leadership and departments as needed. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in a combined HR and administrative role. 
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, or similar) a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
