Commercialization Specialist Job, Product Development, Food Manufacturing, Full Time, Brecksville, OH

Agrana Fruit US, Inc., a global leader in the production of fruit preparations for the dairy industry, is seeking a Commercialization Specialist at its Corporate Headquarters in Brecksville, Ohio. 

The Commercialization Specialist is responsible for supporting the commercialization of new products from set up through transition to production ownership. This includes but is not limited to setting the products up in SAP (enterprise resource planning system), leading the trial process and aligning resources between operations, technical services, customer service, quality, development and sales for commercial success. This role also serves as the communication interface between NPD and production, including but not limited to assisting with plant troubleshooting and ongoing product maintenance for new items.

Commercialization Specialist Job Responsibilities

·       Project Manager for the trial process including but not limited to set up of products in SAP, trial approval, shipment, and release to production.

·       Responsible for new commercial product trending to proactively minimize downtime and quality failures.

·       Communication interface with Customer Service, Technical Services, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and NPD for commercialization of products (trial and trending).

·       Managing and leading weekly meetings to align resources to support the processes.

·       Providing Technical and SAP assistance for production troubleshooting including but not limited to product adjustments, plant to plant transfers, dispositioning commercialization trials, and validation of quality data.

·       Supports KPI reporting for the trial and trending processes to measure success.

·       Maintenance of tools required to execute a clear and repeatable commercialization process

·       Position requires in office time

Commercialization Specialist Job Requirements

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology, Operations, Engineering or other applicable field.          

·       Strong organizational, project management and time management skills.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Strong Knowledge of Computer systems, Windows, Microsoft Office and SAP

·       Prior job experience with SAP a plus

·       Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines

·       Knowledge of food safety rules and regulations preferred
