Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical leadership and cloud solutions in a fast-paced agile environment. This role will support multiple product teams in defining, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain solutions for Azure Cloud infrastructure
• Develop software for infrastructure automation and monitoring
• Support building and migrating applications, software, and services to the Azure platform
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform on-call duties (24x7) on a rotation basis
• Collaborate with multiple product teams to define cloud solutions and identify implementation risks
• Participate in scrum meetings and adapt to changing requirements
• Deliver value with minimal day-to-day direction
• Provide technical consultation on cloud architecture and best practices

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering and development experience, including:
  • Requirement definition
  • Software development
  • Integration, installation, maintenance, and testing
  • Proficiency in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript in Windows and Linux environments
• 3+ years of working experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS
• Basic understanding of HTML and GUI web interfaces with AJAX and JavaScript
• Experience with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, load-balancers, high availability architecture, and zero-downtime production deployments
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux servers

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Experience with Service Now
• Experience using GitHub, Chef, and/or Jenkins
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Experience with DevOps and Agile practices
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Network Administration Skills

• Expertise in networking protocols and devices
• Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring tools
