ABOUT THE POSITION

The HR Manager will support the HR Director in leading and delivering people strategies across our corporate departments, including Senior Leadership, IT, Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, and HR. The HR Manager will also serve as a Human Resources Business Partner to the Integration Team, providing strategic HR guidance and support during all phases of the ERP implementation to ensure team alignment, performance, and engagement throughout the transformation process. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to navigate complex, cross-functional environments.

 

Key Deliverables

  • Support talent development initiatives including leadership development, performance management and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with corporate function leaders to assess talent needs, and foster employee engagement.
  • Implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
  • Analyze and enhance HR processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and interview processes ensuring consistent and high-quality candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
  • Develop and maintain functional excellence competency and experience frameworks—defining the key skills, expertise, and career experiences required for roles to ensure alignment with business needs and talent development goals.

 Key Responsibilities

  •       Act as a strategic HR business partner to leadership across functions.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, organizational change, performance management, and compensation.
  • Support change management and communications for the ERP implementation, helping to align people, process, and technology.
  • Serve as project lead on corporate HR initiatives, ensuring collaboration and timely execution.
  • Assist the HR Director with strategic succession planning, reporting, and special projects involving cross-functional coordination.
  • Ensure legal compliance, including handling investigations and maintaining documentation.
  • Support leaders in coaching, resolving employee concerns, and driving high performance.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions and drive continuous improvement across corporate functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field. (HR certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of HR experience with at least 2+ years in a managerial or business partner capacity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS, and ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

Office

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment.  Duties include a typical office setting including extensive computer work, sitting or standing.
