API Business Analyst - Remote

As an API Business Analyst, you will serve as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into precise technical requirements for APIs. You will play a vital role in defining API specifications, creating comprehensive documentation, and leveraging data analytics to drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate their needs into precise, concise technical requirements for APIs
• Define API specifications, including request/response structures, payload formats, system interactions, and data mappings
• Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation, including specifications, user guides, and integration instructions
• Contribute to the development and improvement of API documentation workflows
• Design and implement insightful dashboards in Azure ADO and Power BI to track performance metrics
• Evaluate overall business performance and identify areas for improvement
• Leverage digital analytics to optimize business systems and processes
• Develop strategies to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of API technologies (REST, SOAP, Swagger, JSON, XML) and related technologies
• Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear and concise API documentation
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Azure ADO
• Experience with Power BI for creating informative dashboards
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capabilities
• Knowledge of business process modeling and system integration
