Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support scalable applications and services.
  • Implement and manage cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and compliance controls.
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide operational support for cloud-based systems.
  • Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, backup, and recovery planning.
  • Stay up to date with cloud technologies and industry best practices to ensure efficient and secure cloud operations.
  • Assist in the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Solid background in troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and cost optimization tools for cloud environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across DevOps, development, and security teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and best practices.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance
