Cloud Engineer
Security Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Salary Range: $100K - $150K

Position Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support scalable applications and services.
- Implement and manage cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data protection, and compliance controls.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and cost optimization.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide operational support for cloud-based systems.
- Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to align infrastructure with application needs.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as patching, backup, and recovery planning.
- Stay up to date with cloud technologies and industry best practices to ensure efficient and secure cloud operations.
- Assist in the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid background in troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with monitoring and cost optimization tools for cloud environments.
- Ability to collaborate across DevOps, development, and security teams.
- Knowledge of cloud migration strategies and best practices.
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance
