We are currently accepting applications/resumes for an EXPERIENCED Senior Equipment Operator (Winch Truck) for the Houma, LA and surrounding areas.

Operate winch truck safely and efficiently while moving equipment from site to site. Load, transport, and unload a variety of equipment and materials.

Essential Functions:

·         Operate winch truck safely and efficiently while moving equipment from site to site.

·         Load, haul, and unload construction materials, equipment, and machinery as directed.

·         Remove obstacles from roads and canals using winch truck.

·         Perform minor maintenance checks. Check fluid levels, inspect tires and air pressure, inspect lights, inspect air lines, and change boards as needed. Report any equipment problems.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

General Requirements:

·         Learn, practice, and enforce all applicable safety rules and regulations.

·         Ability to drive and shift a 13-speed truck.

·         Ability to operate dozers, excavators, and forklifts.

·         Ability to transport equipment OTR as needed.

·         Ability to read and write sufficiently to fill out reports and apply for appropriate permits.

·         Ability to use a mobile tablet and computer.

·         Pass correct DOTD physical and pass drug screen.

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         Required to work emergency events.

·         Louisiana Driver’s License Class A Combination.

·         Minimum of one year operating driving heavy trucks, including operation of a tow truck or low-boy.
