Position Overview

As a valued member of our surgical team, you will work in our state-of-the-art facility in Virginia Beach, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including dental extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, and corrective jaw surgery
- Diagnose and treat facial trauma, pathology, and temporomandibular joint disorders
- Provide surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea when indicated
- Collaborate with referring dentists and physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with advances in oral and maxillofacial surgery techniques and technologies
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
- Board certification or board eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Current Virginia dental license or ability to obtain licensure
- DEA registration and controlled substance license
- Experience with implant surgery and anesthesia administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
