JOB SUMMARY/OBEJECTIVE: 

As a Packaging Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of printed materials. You will oversee a team of packaging personnel, manage packaging operations, and maintain quality standards to meet customer requirements. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of packaging processes in a digital printing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·         Proven experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

·         Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

·         In-depth knowledge of packaging processes, materials, and equipment.

·         Familiarity with quality control principles and practices.

·         Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

·         Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·         Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to packaging operations.

·         Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and relevant software applications

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·         Lead, train, and supervise packaging staff.

·         Assign tasks and ensure that team members understand their responsibilities.

·         Provide guidance and support to resolve issues and maintain morale.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

This position might require long hours and occasional weekend work to follow up with specific projects assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS PREFERRED: 

·         Associate’s Degree; two to four years of relevant experience.
