  • Utilize effective funding strategies that support continuous growth in monetary donations, sponsorships, event participation and community support for various donor engagement projects.
  • Establish and lead regional planned giving efforts.
  • Serve as liaison to Girl Scout members and the Council’s Juliette Gordon Low Society; proactively identify opportunities to engage and solicit donors into society membership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in fund development.
  • At least 5 years of development or fundraising experience with demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding targeted goals and growth efforts related to major gift donors, corporate sponsorships and planned giving.
  • Demonstrated experience carrying out a donor-centered fundraising philosophy and strengthening a culture of philanthropy.
  • Experience leading a team and providing direct supervision to staff.
  • Strong interest in and understanding of issues affecting girls and women. Familiarity with potential donors that are passionate about girl experience and women empowerment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience using fundraising database software to track donors and produce reports. Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data reporting.
