RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will own the end-to-end high volume recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, identifying and attracting potential high-performing internal and external candidates, and integrating new hires, transfers and promotions into vacant positions. Primary duties include assisting with developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational workforce planning strategies, operational needs goals, mission and values.
DUTIES:
- Proactively sources, interviews, and facilitates the selection of high-performing talent for retail roles (store associates, managers, administrative back-office staff and support functions positions), utilizing the most effective recruitment channels and tools to attract top talent. This position must specialize in high-volume recruiting.
- Maintains the applicant tracking system, posts job openings, coordinates background checks, drug screens, verifies driving record checks, arranges DOT physicals, creates and updates recruitment checklists and SOPs, assists with orientation, facilitates transfers, promotions and communication with hiring personnel.
- Collaborates with hiring personnel to identify the skills and competencies aligned with operational needs, organizational goals, and the role requirements needed to fill vacancies.
- Assists with maintaining job descriptions aligned with the evolving roles of RGI employees.
- Collaborates and coordinates with Insperity PEO for recruiting services.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Schedules interviews and proactively develops, updates, and maintains effective screening tools, interview questions, and other materials to support the hiring and selection process.
- Trains hiring personnel on legal interviewing and selection techniques and participates in interviews with hiring teams when needed to ensure compliance and effective candidate evaluation.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and timely updates and postings of labor compliance notices in physical work locations and electronic platforms accessible to remote workers.
- Completes all internal and external reporting accurately and promptly, utilizing data sourced from the Insperity and internal company drives.
- Communicates with employees and managers about work authorization status to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Develops and maintains connections with internal and external recruiting stakeholders and engages with passive and active candidates to cultivate a pool of potential talent to fill current and future job openings.
- Collaborates with the VP of HR and Director of HR to align recruitment strategy with organizational needs, like recruitment budgets and staffing models.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
· Proactive and independent, with ability to take initiative.
· 5 + years of high-volume, full cycle recruiting experience.
· Strong communication skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
· Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Must be highly adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic retail environment.
· Must be able to work as a team member and uphold organizational standards and values.
· Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
· Must be able to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment of a variety of roles.
· Must be able to manage multiple open roles simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
· Demonstrated experience sourcing, screening and shortlisting, selection and preparation for new hire orientation and integration.
· Proficient knowledge of MS Office, ATS, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Demonstrated knowledge of retail-specific job competencies and market trends.
· 5 + years of high-volume, full-cycle recruiting experience in retail or a fast-paced customer-centric environment.
· Demonstrated experience with Insperity applicant tracking systems (ATS).
· Demonstrated experience sourcing passive candidates through social media, job boards, employee referrals, and industry networking.
· Demonstrated strong interviewing and assessment skills for evaluating both cultural fit and job-specific competencies.
· Demonstrated experience sourcing and hiring high-performing talent for retail roles (store associates, managers, and support functions).
· Demonstrated experience delivering training on interview techniques and compliance requirements.
· Demonstrated strong analytical experience in delivering data-driven strategies using recruitment metrics.
· Experience in a bilingual (English/Spanish) work environment is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Mobility: Must be able to sit, stand, and move for long periods throughout the workday to navigate office environments and event spaces, including career centers and recruitment venues.
Lifting Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds, such as materials for recruitment events.
Posture & Movements: Frequent sitting and standing for extended periods while working on a computer, attending recruitment events, training sessions, meetings and orientations. Must also be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as necessary.
Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment.
Travel: Bi-weekly travel to conduct new hire orientation and occasional travel to recruitment events, training sessions, meetings and professional development as needed.
Vision Requirements: Must be able to read computer screens, printed materials, and assess candidate documentation.
Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with hiring personnel, candidates, internal and external stakeholders. Must also be able to deliver presentations, conduct and engage in meetings in person and virtually.
Working Conditions:
· This hybrid role involves remote work from a home office environment, requiring a private workspace devoid of distractions and a reliable high-speed internet connection.
· Must also be able to travel to and adapt to various working environments, including but not limited to, professional office settings and event spaces.
