ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Oracle Fusion SCM IT Manager to lead the design, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management modules, including Order Management (OM), Manufacturing (MFG), Inventory (INV), and Supply Chain Planning. This role will serve as the key liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that SCM systems align with operational goals and deliver measurable value. The Oracle SCM Manager has a critical role as the organization establishes global systems and processes to support the varying business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Fusion SCM Strategy: Define and execute the IT roadmap for Oracle Fusion SCM modules (OM, MFG, INV, Supply Chain Planning) in alignment with business goals.
- Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and operations teams to identify process gaps and implement system-driven improvements.
- System Configuration and Support: Oversee configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Fusion SCM modules; ensure system stability and performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Act as primary liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and communication.
- Data Governance and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all SCM modules; support master data management initiatives.
- Issue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting efforts for system issues, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of root causes.
- Training and Change Management: Develop training materials and lead user training sessions to support adoption of new features and processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor system usage, performance, and business impact.
- Provides daily supervision and direction to assigned and matrixed functional business analyst staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure team growth and performance.
- Conduct performance reviews. Set goals and support professional development.
- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
- A BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field or equivalent and/or combination of training and experience as deemed sufficient by management.
- 3+ years’ management experience.
- ERP implementation experience in large scale projects required.
- Oracle Fusion experience preferred
- Must be proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), manufacturing and ERP data base software. Ability to learn new software efficiently.
- Must be able to take on complex and advanced IT projects while balancing managerial responsibilities.
- Proven ability to influence, lead teams, and drive change.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and/or customers.
- Customer-oriented, with the ability to represent Astec, technology ideas and systems to non-technical audiences.
- Extensive cross functional team experience including technical and non-technical work.
- Creative thinker, results-oriented, analytical mindset, and a focused problem-solver.
- Experienced leader, who has managed complex and large-scale data integration team with direct experience operating within a multi-channel and cross-functional global environment
