We are currently taking applications/resumes for an Experienced Sheet Metal Workers for the Rayne, LA and surrounding area.  Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:

• Job Scope:
• In charge of installing and maintaining equipment used in multiple industries.
• Work includes installing, transferring, and repairing equipment and machinery.
• Position Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a millwright or similar job.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass drug screen
• MUST be able to provide personal PPE (Hard hat, steel toes, gloves, & safety glasses)
• MUST have reliable transportation
• Required skills:
• In-depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
• Ability to review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Duties/Responsibilities:
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation.
• Material Handling: Assisting in moving, lifting, and positioning sheet metal materials.
• Cutting and Fabrication: Preparing sheet metal for fabrication by cutting it to specific dimensions using various tools and equipment.
• Assembly: Helping assemble sheet metal components into larger structures, such as ductwork or architectural elements.
• Tool Maintenance: Assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment used in sheet metal work.
• Following Instructions: Working under the guidance of experienced sheet metal workers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and safely.
• Learning and Development: Utilizing opportunities to learn new skills and advance in the field.
• Mange housekeeping activities when requested.
• Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized.
• Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities
• Cleanup work area and equipment after work is completed.
• Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines when working.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment
• Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards
• Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediately
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
• Must have good endurance
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
• Ability to work in varying hot and cold environments
• Ability to work in an environment with exposures to dust, dirt and various other debris, metal and paint fumes, gases
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions
• The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock

• Weekly Pay
• Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
• Schedule:
• Monday - Friday (Weekends as Needed)
• 8 - 12 Hour days (With Weather Permitting)
