Purpose of the Job: 

The Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects involving development of the Synapse 3PL Expert Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) clients. This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and stakeholder communication skills to ensure successful outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Lead end-to-end project management for WMS development, implementation, and integration projects across 3PL environments.
• Manage continuous development efforts along with planned development projects simultaneously.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including software developers, solution architects, QA, and client stakeholders.
• Manage scope, budget, and schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and within expectations.
• Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
• Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to internal leadership and external clients.
• Ensure proper documentation, testing, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in WMS, 3PL, or supply chain technology.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise software implementations and cross-functional teams.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
   

Computer and Software Knowledge:

• WMS Platforms: Experience with systems such as Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, HighJump/Körber, or custom-built WMS solutions.
• Software Development: Familiarity with software development processes and techniques. Some experience coding preferred.
