The Asset Management Associate, Land position is responsible for ensuring compliance and financial efficiency in operational projects. This role includes responsibilities such as land lease management, which is necessary for the operation and financial health of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Help analyze and examine contracts, ensuring accurate recording of data, maintaining ownership and title records, and providing title information for expedient and accurate land transactions.

·       Monitor contracts for payment terms, revisions in title ownership, and legal descriptions.

·       Examine contracts for land requirements, provisions, amendments, extensions, and renewals.

·       Provide support in maintaining all contractual land agreements, leases, and contract records in compliance software.

·       Lead coordination and administration of payment obligations for operating projects, including landowner payments and crop damages.

·       Review and audit contracts for accuracy in processing payments.

·       Lead various land sublease and subcontract initiatives to align with company objectives.

·       Coordinate legal reviews of agricultural use and risk for operating projects.

·       Assist in maintaining real estate tracking software and integrating new technologies to streamline processes for wind, solar, and battery storage project land management.

·       Work cross functionally to help reclassify land to reduce tax burden, create use-case maps, and transition land responsibility from construction to operations.

·       Support as needed for project sales and acquisitions.

·       Perform other job related duties as requested.

Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a similar field or commiserate work experience.

·       1-2 years of experience in Asset Management, Contract Management, Real Estate or Land Management.

·       Understanding or experience in farming arrangements a plus.

·       Strong communication, analytical, and project support skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

·       Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

·       Notary Public preferred

Pay Range for the posted level: Minimum of $72,000-85,000.00
