The Mass Settlement Coordinator duties are as follows according to company guidelines and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sort and filter large data pools in Excel sheets to identify the client accounts that match settlement criteria
-
Build and develop relationships with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers
-
Organization and follow up on accounts being negotiated
-
Calculating client settlement payment options based on client budget
-
Call, email, fax creditors efficiently and effectively
-
Ensure settlement or payment plan documentation is accurate and uploaded to file
-
Review submitted settlements for accuracy and ensure they meet settlement guidelines
-
Confirm settlement payment information is accurate

Coordinate exchanging lists with third parties
-
Review notations to verify payment information was provided to creditor (if applicable)

Add payments and flip account to appropriate status

Manually add payments for settlements that have been voided and renegotiated
-
Participates and contributes actively at each opportunity and meets all company standards including professionalism and attendance.

Adheres to performance expectations as defined by management and to consistently self- manage, self-motivate and strive for improvement

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, BA preferred or equivalent experience and/or related training. 2 years’ experience in customer service, collections, document auditing, or quality assurance preferred.
Language Ability:
Basic – Effectively communicate both verbally and in written format. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in on-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Basic – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Intermediate – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills: Computer skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job are as follows: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer/internet navigation.
