Job Summary
Performs hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting/assessment, and repair work on heavy equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Cleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on all Griffin equipment
- Dismantles and reassembles pumps using hoists and hand tools, as needed
- Operate and inspect pumps to diagnose and trouble shoot problems ranging from mechanical to electrical
- Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts as needed, including replacing seals and or rebuilding the units
- Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a neat & organized work area
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing clear and concise information and explanations
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all Griffin Fluid Management safety protocols and best practices
Job Requirements
- 3+ years pump and diesel engine repair related experience or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently performing in-depth technical equipment service and maintenance
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Must be able to interact with customers on a professional level
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately take measurements, complete documentation to ensure quality craftsmanship, and reference proper standards
- Acute attention to detail, positive attitude
- Ability to manage priorities/workflow and multitask
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/pumping related equipment preferred but not required
- Experience with service programs such as CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor preferred but not required

- Pay Range
- $26.00 Hourly to $32.00 Hourly
