Registered Nurse – PACU - V-Tech Solutions, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered nursing care in the post-anesthesia environment, ensuring compliance with facility policies, standards, and best practices.
• Vigilantly monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments and medications during the critical recovery phase.
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized recovery care plans.
• Provide professional leadership, mentorship, and support to fellow healthcare team members.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and supportive healing environment for patients and colleagues.
• Uphold the highest ethical and legal nursing standards while ensuring complete patient confidentiality.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and specialized PACU training to enhance skills and stay current with emerging best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active DC RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of one-year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting (PACU experience preferred).
• Specialty unit requirements as specified for post-anesthesia care.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role involves periods of standing and sitting while monitoring patients, the ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. You'll work in a fast-paced hospital environment focused on patient recovery and comfort.
