A top client, Tenderheart Health Outcomes, seeks a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives. This role involves market research, client acquisition, negotiation, and collaboration with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's goals. This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates in Texas, Missouri, Alabama or New York.
Tenderheart Health Outcomes is a healthcare management company focused on improving patient health outcomes through innovative and evidence-based member engagement programs. The company works with various healthcare organizations, including Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans, to close care gaps and enhance patient care quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
- Building Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster business growth.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives, often working closely with senior management.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create and execute campaigns that drive business development.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners to secure favorable terms for the company.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on findings and activities.
- Travel: Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
- Experience: Proven work experience in roles such as Account Management or similar positions in a Healthcare setting.
- Experience: Experience and knowledge of Quality Improvement, HEDIS measures, and Star Ratings within Medicaid and/or Medicare Advantage.
- Experience: Experience working with Medicaid-oriented organizations, Managed Care Organizations, or clinical delivery programs.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions to customer needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent listening and presentation abilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software programs.
